Experience a new kind of church at Dayspring’s 2nd Sundays OPEN HOUSE! This isn’t just a church service—it’s an OPEN HOUSE from 8:30AM—NOON every Second Sunday. Stay for 10 minutes or spend the whole morning. Come for food, music, and activities for all ages. It’s the Sunday Morning Experience You Create— all in a safe and welcoming space where everyone belongs!

OCTOBER’S SECOND SUNDAY IS A PINK-OUT!
Wear Pink, Share Your Strength
If you’ve been touched by breast cancer — whether as a survivor, a fighter, a caregiver, or someone who has loved and supported another along the way — we invite you to wear pink with pride this October.
Every shade of pink tells a story: of courage, resilience, love, and hope. By wearing pink, you’re not just raising awareness—you’re reminding others that they are not alone. Your presence and your strength inspire our entire community.
Let’s stand together, honor the journey, and shine a light for those still walking the path.

OCTOBER HIGHLIGHTS:
AN INVITATION TO EXPLORE THE FEMININE HOLY
Imagine walking into a worship space where the chairs are arranged in an inclusive circle, the people are warm and welcoming. It’s a space whose purpose is to help spiritual seekers and unfulfilled congregants gain a richer experience of the fullness of God. This is a space where together we explore the often-hidden part of God, the Divine Feminine, through less doctrinal experiential activities and feminine storytelling using diverse sources and concepts to refresh and transform our practices in the world.
On October 12, we invite you to join us in the Palo Verde Room from 8:50-9:30 a.m. for our Divine Feminine Celebration. You will not want to miss Janice Procter-Murphy’s storytelling.
CITY OF TEMPE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSET MAPPING: The Stories That Shape Us
Join us on Second Sunday at 11:00 in Room 206/207 for “The Stories That Shape Us,” the first in a two-part interactive workshop series hosted by the City of Tempe and Dayspring Resilience Hub. Come share stories, discover neighborhood strengths, and connect with neighbors as part of the Neighborhood Asset Mapping Program kick-off to help build a stronger, more resilient community.
Every neighbor can be a hero! Our community is built on the everyday acts of care, support, and courage that neighbors share. This first workshop is a chance to reflect on how we’ve come together in the past and celebrate the resilience that lives in our neighborhood today.
- At this session, neighbors will:
- Play the interactive Game of Assets to uncover hidden neighborhood strengths
- Share stories of how neighbors have supported one another during challenges and emergencies
- Explore the history of our neighborhood and celebrate past accomplishments
- Connect with one another to build pride, trust, and belonging.
- Food and refreshments will be provided, and your participation will get you entered to win a $50 gift card.
CHURCH & SOCIETY HOUSE MEETING
Are you passionate about making the world a better place? House meetings are an opportunity to discuss issues that are currently challenging in the world. These conversations aim to establish a basis for addressing problems. They include people directly affected by the issue, and they collect personal stories that will motivate others. The next house meeting will be on Second Sunday, October 12, at 11:15 in the Office Workroom.
