Children’s Ministry continues to meet online on Sunday mornings at 10:00 and 10:30 on Zoom. There will be no online Sunday school meeting on Sunday, May 9, Mother’s Day, or Sunday May 30th, Memorial Day Weekend. Please email Emily to get the zoom meeting information – it’s the same every week.
Returning In Person
As we look to the summer we are excited to bring back our weekly in person Sunday school classes beginning June 6 at 9:00am. Multi-age classes will be limited to 15 participants by reservation only and will be held in Fellowship Hall to allow for safe distancing. We will continue to offer online virtual Sunday school options for those who aren’t able to join us in person. We are excited to return to in-person ministry and are planning a fun summer to reintroduce everyone again.
Vacation Bible School
We are also planning in-person VBS-lite. Our traditional program will be modified to allow for a familiar experience in a safe and smaller format. The program, Rocky Mountain Railway, will run from June 27-29 in two groups: 5:00-6:30pm or 6:00-7:30pm. The program will be for those entering Kindergarten through entering 6th grade. Parents have the option to participate in special programming, step out to get some errands done, or even participate with their kids. Limited nursery spots that will include some age appropriate VBS themed fun will be available for children who are too young to participate with preference given to children of volunteers. Registration is available HERE beginning May 1 for church members and returning campers, it will open to the public on May 15. The cost is $10 per camper and will include a CD or digital download of VBS music. Space is even more limited this year so if your child is interested, please don’t wait to register. We are also looking for volunteers to lead station activities and serve as assistants. If you’re looking to get your feet wet in children’s ministry, our VBS-lite is the perfect way to get more involved.
