We are looking forward to an exciting May in Children’s ministry as we wrap up our regular Sunday school curriculum and then put plans in place for our Summer program. We will finish off the school year learning about Pentecost and the teachings of Paul. There will be no Sunday school on Sunday, May 29th due to Memorial Day weekend.
On May 22 after both services we will be hosting our first Sno-Cone Sunday of the season! We will also have handmade bags and purses from the communities in Liberia where we have built clean water wells. The women of these communities wanted to help us bring more clean water wells to the area and to show us their thanks and support for our Project Hope efforts. Please join us on the patio on May 22 after both services to support this really exciting project.
There is still space open for VBS this summer, the program runs from June 13-16 from 9am to noon. The cost is $35 for the first camper and $25 for siblings. We hope you will join us for a week of Monumental fun where we learn all about God’s Monumental love! Learn more or Register
We like to give our regular Sunday school teachers a break during the month of June and July, so we are always looking for new volunteers to help out through the summer. If you are interested in helping out in a whole group Sunday school class – even just for one week over the summer, please email Emily.
