There is a growing network of churches and faith communities who are moving their Sunday gatherings into nature. Wild Churches (wildchurchnetwork.com) are rediscovering the spiritual practice of communing in and with nature. Dayspring stepped into this experience with our Sunday service in Greer at our Labor Day camp as we sang, wandered with the trees and found items in the forest that caught our attention as little pieces of God’s creation (pictured, right).
We will continue to experiment with Church in the Wild on Sunday, October 29th in Arcadia, when we take our 11am gathering out into the park. You’re invited to bring a camp chair, if you have one, and find God under the canopy of our tree. Check the weather and dress comfortably.
